Dutch Boy was adopted from the shelter in Huntington, IN, when he was small enough to fit in one hand. He grew into a 76 pound snuggler, and liked to sit on my lap while traveling to matches. Thanks to the Koehler training method, Dutch Boy was able to win some awards and earn his All American CD title. Buffy was his best pal. More about her on the ABC page. |
Rocky was born in Michigan and the way we found each other is a story in itself. Rocky used to go to a lot of matches with Fritzie and Cody, and earned his AMBOR CD. He was a typical Terrier, stealing my heart away. See Rocky's story on his own page. |
The first dog that was really my own, Tater trekked across my heart for almost 17 years. Love and exercise...what a great combination! |
Born on Tater's birthday, he was destined to be mine, my "Masked Million"...a star that shone brightly but briefly, snuffed out by a fox trap and a careless lapse of vigilance. "Forgive me, sweet boy. Take care of that red ball, and I'll be along shortly." |

Do not stand by my grave and weep; I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am a diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, Of quiet birds in circling flight; I am the soft star-shine at night. Do not stand by my grave and cry, I am not there...I did not die. Anonymous |
